Science Museum, Tokyo at a glance
The Science Museum is a on the east side of Kitanomaru Park in central Tokyo. It was founded by the Japan Science Foundation in 1964 with the goal of promoting science and technology among the public.
Although the museum was designed primarily for children, adults will find many of the interactive exhibits interesting, too. The museum is a popular destination for school trips so be prepared to wade through the crowds of school children often present.
